Through the Year, CIJFMR Publishes new issues and Welcomes Submissions.

CIJFMR accepts manuscripts on a rolling basis throughout the year. Authors may submit original research, review articles, case analyses, policy papers, book reviews, and interdisciplinary studies that align with the Journal’s publication guidelines.

All submissions undergo an initial editorial screening for scope, originality, ethical compliance, and manuscript completeness before being sent for double-blind peer review. Accepted articles are published online on a continuous basis within the relevant bimonthly issue.

About the Journal

CIJFMR is an international, peer-reviewed, open-access, online journal for multidisciplinary research.

The Crossroads International Journal for Multidisciplinary Research (CIJFMR) provides a scholarly platform for research across Law, Social Sciences, Humanities, Management, and allied interdisciplinary fields. The Journal welcomes contributions from academics, research scholars, doctoral candidates, practitioners, and policy professionals worldwide.

The Journal follows a bimonthly publication schedule, with six issues released each year. Submissions remain open year-round, and accepted manuscripts are published online on a rolling basis.

Types of Submissions and Word Limit

Long Articles (3500-8000 words)

This category seeks submissions that extensively explore the legal issues and related literature. The paper has to provide a comprehensive review of the state of the art, point out any gaps in the field's existing understanding, and propose fresh perspectives and practical solutions. Theoretical works are also welcome here.

Case Notes and Legislative Comments (1200-3500 words)

Analyzing recent judicial rulings, legislative actions, or policy proposals falls under this heading. The Notes and Comments section of a case opinion should provide a history of the case in question and a discussion of the decision's significance to the development of the relevant area of law. The same holds true for policy proposals and comments on legislation.

Essays/Short Articles (1200-3500 words)

Essays and short articles have a narrower emphasis than research papers, are more condensed in length, and are centred on a single legal issue. Additionally, they present novel viewpoints and insightful critical analysis of the subject matter. They present arguments that can be easily recognised, and they may present alternative ways of thinking about the chosen topic.

Book Reviews (1000-2500 words)

The subject of a book review should be either the author's own journey through the legal profession and its implications for budding lawyers and seasoned attorneys alike, or a topic of practical importance to the area of law. Book reviews should be between 1,000 and 2,500 words in length.
